On the Water

Some mornings, the most powerful sermon is a duck resting quietly on still water.

No striving. No rushing. Just resting on the surface, trusting it to hold.

Psalm 46:10 says it simply: Be still, and know that I am God.

There is a kind of peace that only comes when we stop paddling for a moment and let ourselves be carried.

My Declaration

I will rest in God's stillness today. I do not have to strive for everything. I can trust the water that holds me.
