Understand Yourself

I wrote this a while back, and it still holds true:

Your worth should not be measured by what people think of you. You are more than that. God has made you special.

Scaling yourself by the human scale will rob you of qualities the human eye simply cannot see. You are wonderfully and fearfully made — the image of God.

A few things I had noted for myself:

Everyone is unique.

Don't try to imitate people — be yourself, and accept yourself.

Thank God for the special way He made you.

Accept your weaknesses, and trust God's grace and His mightiness to change the inner you into the person He wants you to be.

Appreciate others the way they are. Don't try to change them — understand them, and pray for them.

When you struggle to live another person's life, you are denying yourself the chance to live your own.

Live — and you will love it.

My Declaration

I am wonderfully and fearfully made. I will not measure my worth by human opinion. I will live as myself, fully.
