The First Step
Daniel stood outside the classroom, holding a notebook tightly in his hands.
He had always wanted to learn, but he was afraid of failing. Every time he thought about starting, he imagined everything that could go wrong.
That morning, his teacher noticed him standing by the door.
“You don't have to know everything before you begin,” she said. “You only need to take the first step.”
Daniel walked into the classroom.
He did not suddenly become the best student. He still made mistakes. Some lessons were difficult, and some days were frustrating.
But something had changed.
He had started.
Months later, Daniel looked back and realized that the hardest part had not been learning. It had been convincing himself that he was capable of beginning.
Sometimes, the door to a better future is opened by one simple decision:
Take the first step.
