There was a season when I had been praying for an opportunity but nothing seemed to change.

I applied, waited, and received disappointment after disappointment. At times, I wondered whether my prayers were being heard.

Instead of giving up, I decided to keep trusting God and continue doing what was within my reach.

Then, unexpectedly, an opportunity came.

It was not the opportunity I had originally imagined, but it opened a door to something I had been praying for.

Looking back, I realized that the waiting season had not been wasted. It had taught me patience, strengthened my faith, and prepared me for what came next.

Sometimes God's answer is not “no.” Sometimes it is “wait.”

The timing may not make sense while we are waiting, but we can still trust the One who sees the whole picture.
